An Aviation Technician Journey - Dr. Joel English & Dominic Cummings
Are you interested about a career that is high in demand, low in investment with respect to time and cost, and has a great earning potential. Today on the My Career Shop Podcast, to discuss the career of an Aviation Technician, I am joined by the President of the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), Dr. Joel English, who manages 15 AIM campuses across the United States, and Dominic Cummings, an Aviation Technician who won the 2023 Person of the Year Award from the Virginia Department of Aviation.
In this episode, we will discuss Dr. English's journey which went from being a professor to becoming the president of an Aviation institute, and Dominic's journey that began as a veteran all the way to winning the Aviation award for the state of Virginia. Dr. English and Dominic both found that if more people knew of this career, they would consider it given the perks, life style, ease of entry and great earning potential.
